Diane L. Camacho, CLM

President

Diane L. Camacho is the founder of DLC Consulting Services, LLC. She has spent more than 25 years as a legal manager in San Francisco for firms of various sizes. She started DLCCS in 2013 and has consulted to small firms around the country on a multitude of management and operational issues. She speaks in the legal community on issues such as operations, IOLTA accounting and legal practice management software. In addition, she teaches law office management at the San Francisco State University. Diane is a Certified Legal Manager and holds a degree in Organizational Behavior and Leadership from the University of San Francisco.

Diane is deeply rooted in the legal community of the Bay Area. She spent over 15 years on the Board of Directors for the San Francisco Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators, serving as President twice and served as co-chair of the solo and small firm section brown bag lunch for the San Francisco Bar Association.

She has a passion to help attorneys and their staff become more efficient. She believes attorneys should practice law, not spend their time in the weeds of running their businesses. Her experience ranges from office build-outs and moves to new technology implementations and law firm start-ups.

When Diane is not working with our clients, she loves to travel, read and spend time with her children and grandchildren.

Louis W. Tullius

Senior Operations Consultant

Louis began his legal management career in the 1990s and has worked in some of the largest AMLAW firms managing branch offices and firm wide programs. He brings a strong systems background to DLC Consulting with experience in opening branch offices, reducing costs and coordinating with out-sourced service providers. Louis also has a deep understanding of law firm compensation from not only managing human resources in all of his positions, but managing the nationwide compensation program of an international law firm for four years.

Louis has been a member of the Board of Directions of the San Francisco Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators, serving a president in 2009. He has a Green Belt in Six Sigma Lean Process Management, an Advanced Dispute Certification from JAMS and is a Certified Behavioral Interviewer. Louis has a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Humboldt State University.

He recently left the Bay Area for Palm Desert and is enjoying the change in lifestyle. When he is not working, he is traveling or spending time with his pups Toby, Barney and Cody.

Janis A. Lucian

Janis started her law firm career in 1989. She spent time in various administrative positions before transitioning to managerial roles. Janis has worked in large international firms, as well as small to mid-sized regional firms on the East and West coasts. Her diverse experiences have provided her with an in-depth understanding of all aspects of law firm operations. Janis is skilled at identifying process improvement opportunities and enjoys developing creative solutions to streamline operations and improve overall efficiency.

Janis has a Bachelor of Science in Administrative Management from Johnson & Wales University and a Master of Business Administration from Simmons University.

When Janis is not working for our clients, she enjoys home improvement projects, reading mysteries and legal thrillers, and advancing her knitting skills beyond scarfs and shawls.

Carolyn Fawcett

Executive Assisstant

Carolyn has a broad range of administration experience with a focus on finance and marketing. From part-time office assistant to manager, turned business owner, she has acquired knowledge and skills on her professional journey. Carolyn is experienced in supporting clients and business professionals.

Carolyn holds a BA in Interior Design and a minor in Business from Brigham Young University. She joined DLC Consulting in 2022 and has loved every minute of being part of a collaborative team.
