Diane L. Camacho, CLM
Diane L. Camacho is the founder of DLC Consulting Services, LLC. She has spent more than 25 years as a legal manager in San Francisco for firms of various sizes. For the past four years she has consulted to small firms around the country on a multitude of management and operational issues. She speaks in the legal community on issues such as diversity, project management and legal staffing as well as teaches law office management at the San Francisco State University. Diane is a Certified Legal Manager and holds a degree in Organizational Behavior and Leadership from the University of San Francisco.
She has a passion to help attorneys and their staff become more efficient. She believes attorneys should practice law, not spend their time in the weeds of running their businesses. Her experience ranges from office build-outs and moves to new technology implementations to law firm start-ups.
When Diane is not working with her clients, she loves to travel, read and spend time with her children and grandchildren. She is a board member of San Francisco Chapter of National Association of Women Business Owners and co-chairs a monthly meeting for the solo and small firm section of the San Francisco Bar Association.
Heather S. Salazar
Executive Assistant & Trainer
Heather Salazar brings more than 15 years of experience supporting attorneys in firms of all sizes. She has a keen understanding of the special demands of the legal profession and the need for flexibility, confidentiality, and creative problem solving. Heather’s experience supporting managing partners translated easily to the C-Suite, where she worked as an Executive Assistant to the CEO in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry.
Heather particularly enjoys working with small firms where her roles tend to include a wider array of responsibilities. She has boots-on-ground experience with all aspects of law firm operations and has participated in litigation from client-intake through discovery, trial, and post-trial proceedings, as well as contract negotiation and execution. Her experience includes using over 20 legal software programs and always being the office go-to for desktop support. She is currently working on her NetDocuments training certification.
Heather holds a degree in English from San Francisco State University. She enjoys spending time with her children, playing music, and exploring the outdoors.
Rachel G. West
Rachel West has a broad range of experience with a focus on customer service. Her experience started as being a part-time office assistant in a small law firm. After college she worked in the hotel industry as a front desk associate and later the sales and catering coordinator.
Rachel holds a BA from Fresno State University. She joined DLC Consulting in 2017 as the Conference Coordinator for our first Attorney Conference.
Rachel enjoys spending time with her daughter and husband at Disneyland, cooking and traveling.
